Cashew Chicken


Cashew Chicken


 Ingredients:

1 pound Chicken breasts-Diced

6 medium sized cloves fresh Garlic-minced

½ cup chopped fresh Ginger

3 Scallions-chopped

¼ cup toasted Sesame seeds

4 teaspoons Nam Pla (fish Sauce)

4 teaspoons Soy Sauce

3 teaspoons Sesame Oil

3 tablespoons cooking oil

3 teaspoons Cornstarch dissolved into 1 cup water

2 teaspoons Siracha sauce

1/2  a yellow onion-diced

1 cup cashews

**Serve with Jasmine rice


Directions:

Heat oil on high, add onions, garlic, ginger, and scallions. Cook until golden brown and fragrant. Add chicken, soy sauce, nap pla, Siracha, mix well and cover. Cook and stir frequently for about 12 minutes. Once chicken is completely cooked, add water and corn starch. Cook for an addition minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add cashews, and sesame seeds. Mix and serve over jasmine rice.
