Blueberry-Buttermilk Muffins

Blueberry-Buttermilk Muffins

½ cup (1 stick) butter at room temperature
2 cups all-purpose flour-sifted
1 & ½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 & ¼ cup sugar
2 cups fresh blueberries-washed
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
½ cup buttermilk
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs and vanilla, then beat on low. Add all dry ingredients together, excluding blueberries. Mix wet and dry ingredients together, then add buttermilk, beating on a low speed. Fold in blue berries.
Bake at 375 degrees, for around 20 minutes, checking frequently.
